Graham Crain
Founder & Principal
Graham Crain founded Crain Company 15 years ago, growing it from the ground up. He has focused on building strong teams and leading strategies for investments, lending, grants, tax credits, and abatements. As head of business development, Graham oversees acquisitions, land development, and partnerships with institutional investors and national retail tenants. Under his leadership, Crain Company has grown by over $325MM in the last decade, with 4,250 units and 500,000 square feet of commercial space. Graham serves on the board of AdelFi Credit Union and works from the New York and Wichita offices. He holds a Master of Science from Kansas State University and a Bachelor of Science from Eastern Nazarene College.
Dave King
CFO Crain Company
Dave joined Crain in 2018, bringing over 30 years of senior financial and operational experience. He began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers and is a licensed CPA in Missouri. Dave has spent 18 years in dual roles, including Managing Director at a high-tech firm in Kansas City and CFO/COO of a large family-owned manufacturing company. His expertise in finance, operations, and strategic execution ensures the financial health and operational efficiency of Crain’s projects.
Randy Furstenberg
CEO Crain Development
Randy brings 20 years of experience in real estate development to Crain Companies. Prior to joining, he served as CFO and GP of a development firm, where he was involved in projects valued at over $300MM, spanning more than 1 million square feet of commercial space and 1,500 multi-family units.
With a CPA background, Randy’s analytical and detailed approach to budgeting, cost management, and risk analysis ensures clear and articulate leadership, enhancing project outcomes and ensuring the financial viability of Crain Development's projects.
Michael White
VP of Investments
Mike brings over 15 years of investment management experience, spanning Wall Street (Risk Arb @ Citi), private equity, and the nonprofit sector. He has deep expertise in commercial real estate (CRE) and has managed investments across major asset classes, from real estate to digital currency. Mike runs the investment and acquisition arm of the company and operates out of our Dallas office.
Jacob Archer
VP of Development
Jacob brings an extensive background in private investments, underwriting, and financial modeling, which he honed during his time at a family office. His strategic insights and deep expertise in steering development projects play a pivotal role in Crain’s success. Jacob’s ability to identify opportunities and optimize financial outcomes is instrumental in driving the firm's growth and ensuring the financial success of each venture.
